Added an Additional 100+ Cryptocurrencies
Thanks to a reviewer, an additional 100+ Cryptocurrencies have been added to the app to choose from (including some very popular ones like XRP. The icons for these currencies will be coming in the next few releases.
Removed Unused Assets and Libraries
Some icons and screen assets from older versions of the app were still bundled with the APK, so these have been removed with this release. Additionally, updated libraries and removed/changed older ones to reduce bundled APK size. The new APK size is roughly 9.8 MB which is a ~2.9MB reduction over the previous release (~22.83 percent reduction).
Fixed Tabs Not Optimized for Tablets
When running CryptoConvert on a tablet, the Currency Picker tabs (fiat, crypto, favorites) would not expand to fill the width of the screen. This has been fixed in v3.01 – tabs now expand to fit the full width of the device.
Fixed the Free Version Screen Rotation
The Free version of CryptoConvert was locked into Portrait mode – this has been removed and now allows for either Portrait or Landscape screen rotations.
Currency Picker Search is Now Case Independent
With the introduction of the “Search” feature in the Currency Picker, the letter case of the search query would matter – therefore “USD” would be a separate search from “usd” or even “Usd” and would provide inconsistent results. This has been fixed in v3.01 and now the search is case-independent. “USD” will return the same results as “usd”, “Usd” or any other capitalization permutation.
Adjusted App Round Icon
For anyone using the Round Icon launcher themes, the round icon is now slightly adjusted with better resolution graphics and layout. Also the “Free” and “Pro” round icons are now differentiated (just as the standard icons) – previously they used an identical round icon.
